Mr. Brian Kevin Hearst, Sr.

Brian Kevin Hearst Sr. was born on November 2, 1962, at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit, Michigan to James Sr. and Lois Hearst. He was the youngest of six siblings: James Jr. "Skeet", Darnell, Clarence "Boot", Ethel "Kim", & Bridgette "Shelly".

As a child, Brian along with his family and grandma Lamar, attended Parks Memorial AME Methodist Church in Romulus, Michigan on Saturday, February 17, 2024, Brian accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as his Savior while he was in the hospital.

Brain was a Romulus native attending Romulus Public Schools and later graduating from Romulus High School in 1980. 

After high school, Brian met and married Ella Creaghead and to their union were born two children: Patrice & Brian Jr.

Growing up Brian loved to play the electric guitar, write, and play baseball. He enjoyed playing the guitar so much that he formed his own band to groove to his favorite music. Brian was also known for the way he dressed. He did not mind a nice suit and tie combination. He enjoyed dressing to impress.

Brian transitioned to be with Lord on Monday, March 11, 2024, at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit, Michigan, with his daughter Patrice at his bedside.

He was preceded in death by his brother Darnell A. Hearst, and his grandparents, Joseph & Lula Hearst, Brain leaves to cherish his memory, his parents James Sr. & Lois Hearst; his daughter Patrice (Jeremy) Cranford & his son Brian Jr.; four grandchildren: Judah, Jireh, Josiyah, & Jael Pretty Girl; 2 brothers; James Jr. & Clarence; 2 sisters: Ethel (James) Averhart, & Bridgette, and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
