Betty Jean Randall Dyer was born on September 30. 1950, in Detroit, Michigan to the late James and Gladys Mann. She was the second born out of three children. Betty received Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior at the age of 16 at River Rouge Church of Christ in River Rouge, Michigan under Minister Jesse Bishop. Betty received her education in the Detroit Public School System and graduated from Southwestern High School in 1968. In 1969, she was employed by Merrill Lynch for several years until she accepted her job through the State of Michigan at the Secretary of State. She was a dedicated employee for 30 years until her retirement. In 1978, Betty married William Randall, who preceded her in death. To this union, their son, William B. Randall was born. On June 25, 1995, she married her loving husband, Deacon Richard Dyer. In addition to her strong love for her only son and her husband; she enjoyed spending time with family, going to Song Service, the Tulip and Strawberry Festival, listening to oldies but goodies music, dancing with her husband and "TRYING" to learn the Wobble Hustle Dance with her niece, Keisha. Betty departed this life and was called home by the Lord on April 14, 2024. Betty leaves to cherish her memory and rejoice in her heavenly homegoing, a devoted husband, Richard Dyer, her only son, William Randall and her loving sister, Brenda Mann. She was preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Diane Shelton. Betty also leaves a host of nieces, nephews. cousins, and friends.
